What Would You Be Willing to Die For?

Walkaway Cover Mike Montane is dead. Or, at least, that’s what most people think.

He leaves his wife and everything behind in a calculated, yet desperate act of revenge. How will he prove his own death? How can a dead man collect beneficiary money on his own life? What if he is caught – not dead, but very much alive?

As you read Walkaway, you’ll feel the ice cold waters of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. You’ll experience a true fear of heights in Rocky Mountain National Park. But most of all, you'll become one with Mike Montane as he battles the monsters who've destroyed everything he holds dear.

About Walkaway

Insurance fraud is usually committed against insurance companies. But what if an insurance company deliberately cheated you so you lost everything?

In 1995 I read this headline story in the Minneapolis Star Tribune: "Driver at fault in tragic crash gets $50,000; victims nothing."

This incredible tragedy of injustice made me dream about how I would respond if someone so irrevocably hurt me. I fed, nurtured, and grew the idea until Walkaway was born.
